Samantha Vine

Samantha is a Melbourne and Sydney based dancer and choreographer. Whilst training at the McDonald College, Sydney, she received The Ann McDonald Scholarship and the Queensland Ballet Scholarship. She graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 1994 and, in the same year, gained the London Contemporary Dance Exchange Award.

In February 1995, Samantha joined Link Theatre to participate in Wednesday Morning Was Like That, a season following the opening of the City of Stonnington Chapel off Chapel Arts Centre in Melbourne. She joined Tasdance under the artistic direction of Richard James Allen and Karen Pearlman in March 1995 until the end of 1996. She presented her own choreography, Lunch With The Birds, at the 1995 Tasmanian Poetry and Dance Festival.
